General terms and conditions of Saliseal

1. Applicability
1. These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements, offers, and services of Saliseal, regardless of the country or region in which you are located.
1.2 By using our services, placing an order, or visiting our website, you agree to these general terms and conditions.

2. Orders and delivery
2. All orders are subject to acceptance by Saliseal.
2. We strive to ship your order as soon as possible, but delivery times are indicative and may depend on external factors.
2. Ownership of the products transfers to you at the moment of shipment, unless otherwise agreed.

3. Prices and payment
3. All prices are shown in the relevant currency and include VAT, unless otherwise stated.
3. Payment must be made in the manner indicated during the ordering process.
3. In case of late payment, Saliseal has the right to postpone delivery or to dissolve the agreement.

4. Returns

General return policy:
1. Stock products can be returned within 14 days after receipt of the order without giving any reason, according to the law. Saliseal extends this by an additional 14 days to a total of 30 days. This right of return starts the day after receipt of the order.

2.During the reflection period, the consumer will handle the product and packaging with care. They will only unpack or use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether they wish to keep the product. If they exercise their right of withdrawal, they will return the product with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and packaging to the entrepreneur, in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by the entrepreneur.

3. When the consumer wishes to exercise their right of withdrawal, they are required to notify the entrepreneur within 14 days after receiving the product. The notification must be made by the consumer using the model form or by another means of communication such as email. After the consumer has indicated their intention to exercise their right of withdrawal, the customer must return the product within 14 days. The consumer must prove that the delivered goods were returned on time, for example by means of proof of shipment.

4. If the customer has not indicated after the periods mentioned in paragraphs 2 and 3 that he wishes to exercise his right of withdrawal or has not returned the product to the entrepreneur, the purchase is final.

When delivering services:

When delivering services, the consumer has the option to dissolve the agreement without giving reasons for at least 14 days, starting on the day the agreement is entered into.

To exercise his right of withdrawal, the consumer must follow the reasonable and clear instructions provided by the entrepreneur with the offer and/or at the latest upon delivery.

Costs in case of withdrawal

  1. The consumer bears the direct costs of returning the product.
  2. If the consumer has paid an amount, the entrepreneur will refund this amount as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal. The condition is that the product has already been received back by the web store or conclusive proof of complete return can be provided. Refund will be made via the same payment method used by the consumer unless the consumer explicitly agrees to another payment method.
  3. In case of damage to the product due to careless handling by the consumer themselves, the consumer is liable for any depreciation of the product.
  4. The consumer cannot be held liable for depreciation of the product if the entrepreneur has not provided all legally required information about the right of withdrawal; this must be done before the conclusion of the purchase agreement.

Exclusion of right of withdrawal


Return conditions:
4.3. The product must be returned in the original packaging.
4.4. If the product is damaged or the packaging is more damaged than necessary to try the product, we can charge you for this depreciation of the product. 
4.5. So make sure the product is well packaged to prevent transport damage and extra costs.
4.6. Returns must be registered online via the website using the link below. If you do not have an account, you can still create one. Use the same email address you used to place your order to be able to see your products.

5. Warranty and liability
5.1 Saliseal guarantees that the delivered products comply with the agreement and the expected quality and functionality.
5.2 Any complaints must be reported in writing to Saliseal within a reasonable period after discovery.
5.3 Saliseal's liability is limited to the amount paid out by the liability insurance in the relevant case.

6. Intellectual property rights
6.1 All intellectual property rights related to the website, logos, photos, content and other materials remain the property of Saliseal at all times.
6.2 It is not permitted to use, copy, distribute or modify the intellectual property rights without written permission from Saliseal.

7. Privacy
7.1 Saliseal processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy legislation. Please consult our privacy policy for more information.

8. Force majeure
8.1 In case of force majeure, Saliseal is not obliged to fulfill any obligation.
8.2 Force majeure includes, among other things: strikes, war, natural disasters, fire, technical failures and unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

9. Applicable law and dispute resolution
9.1 Dutch law exclusively applies to all agreements and disputes between Saliseal and the customer.
9.2 Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.

9.3 It can always happen that something does not go exactly as planned. We recommend that you first report complaints to us by emailing info@saliseal.com.
