Collection: Sunshade

The Saliseal Sunshade fabric with poles is designed to create shade on boats. The advantage of this system is that it tensions itself through the carbon poles which are set at a 15-degree angle.

With this system, it is possible to have the fabric follow the shape of the boat without sacrificing space or encountering obstacles. The fabric and frame are easy to disassemble and store. Unlike a traditional bimini, there is no obstacle left on the boat.

You first order the hardware system and install it on the boat. Before inserting the poles, you first measure the distance between the sockets or railing brackets. The measurement point is the center of the holes where the carbon poles will be inserted. Once you know the measurements, you can order the fabric. Because the deck sockets and railing brackets are set at a 15-degree angle and point outward from the boat, the fabric is tensioned.

The railing sockets are for a railing diameter of 30 to 32 mm. You mount the railing socket on the part of the railing that has a stanchion so the socket cannot tip over. The socket's bottom opening is 25.4 mm.

The Saliseal Sunshade fabric is made from Mehler Airtex.
